There might be some resentment between the two.

It had huge, knife-like claws growing out of its five toes, and its ferocious-looking face glared at the [Bait] in front of it.

“I was wondering where to summon this wolf because of the tight security in the surroundings lately, but I guess all of you could be used as a sacrifice in just the right place!” (Senate President)
“Get ready, boys! …Hmph, looks like you’ve shown your true self a bit too quickly. Well, for our part, it’s a good thing…” (Helger)
“What are you talking about?” (Senate President)
“I certainly wouldn’t have the time to deal with you along with this monster. Well, that is if it was only us, the Imperial Guards, here.” (Helger)
“What are you…?” (Senate President)
The vigilance of the Imperial Guards did certainly heighten, and they made a formation according to Helger’s instructions, but me, who was also with their group, found myself laughing.

I just let go of everything I was holding back, stared at the wolf, and let my words sink in slowly.

“Hmm. Good boy. Good boy.”
I pat the wolf laying its head on the ground in front of me.
You’re a smart one who could make a wise decision, so I might release you into the Demon Forest and place you as part of the army of monsters under Rir’s control.
Perhaps the Senate President was trying to make me a part of the suspects of the terrorism using a similar monster, but this was a bad move for him.
If it had been something else, more like a bug-type monster that didn’t listen to my words and had little reason, it would have been somewhat of a battle.

It was easier when dealing with wild creatures.
“That voice, is that the Demon Emperor Yuki?” (Senate President)

With a smirk on my face, I continued speaking.
“At this point, you can e up with anything you want. Tell me how terrifying the [trump card] you guys have prepared. Or are you out of stock? Helger, tie his feet so he can’t escape, but let him move his hands.”
Now it was clear that these guys had been hiding a few more monsters out there that were unknown to us.
At this point though, it would be easier to deal with him and his people and force them to spill everything out.
“…It will be of no use, no matter what you do, Senate President… You heard him, Mister Mystery Mask wants you to show him the best of what you have. If you have any magic tricks hidden, feel free to show it. We’re going to simply drag you away after this to a secret place. You’ll never see the light of day again.”
