The old man nodded. “Director Xie.”

mander Xie replied. “The higher-ups had ordered to protect Zhong Lizhen at all costs. Also….” He paused and smiled. “I want to meet your family, Xiao Dong. I could not return for Huilan’s wedding and hear much about him. I am curious about what Secretary Xie’s son-in-law looks like. That’s why I came.”
